christmas vacation

Oh, what a great week this has been.
a fantastic week at that.

for starters, if we are FB friends i'm sure you already know i got a 4.0 gpa with my 15 credit hours. a first for me probably since high school, so i am really proud of my perfect grades.

secondly, i found out two whole months after applying that i got my internship at Weber Metro CSI. This is the place i was really heart set on interning at, and i didnt apply anywhere else. In October i had a polygraph test and knew they conducted a fairly extensive background check on me. i hadnt heard from them and was beginning to get a little nervous but tuesday i got the call and they'd love to have me.
my internship will consist of me putting in 100+ hours with the csi in ogden and riding along to crime scenes. they did inform me however that i cant go to homicide scenes while the body is still at the scene because they dont want me funking anything up.
go ahead and call me grism

Us Newbolds dont have many family traditions, but the ones we do typically involve food. haha. our christmas tradition is to decorate gingerbread cookies for the chirstmas tree, here are a few from this year:

I attended the 2nd annual ugly christmas sweater party at the buckners and liz and i FINALLY got a picture together. in the LAST month of the year. at least we made it happen. here is the family photo:

My best friends' wedding:
Kake became official for time and eternity yesterday, dec 18, 2010. they got married in the draper temple and it was FREEZING cold and windy because the temple sits at the very top of a hill with no wind barrier. the pictures are going to be interesting to see because we were all so wind blown just waiting for them to get out. they had a beautiful reception at the atrium and i got to catch up with all my old friends, it was great.
here is my favorite family on the big day:

day 15-someone you miss the most/day 16-someone in a different state

the person i miss happens to live in another state, so its a two for one deal.

boobear,

i miss you, lots.
i am so happy we still talk almost every day.
i am really happy we met that night at your house, when you were being too cool for everyone.
haha, i remember dustin saying "that's nate for ya, he'll somehow win your heart" and you did.
i loved spending every single day with you and was so sad when the season was over and you moved home.
im glad we didnt have some dramatic goodbye, because it wasnt goodbye, just see you later.
(ugh, except for that morgan drama which we wont talk about. haha. stupid girl. glad i got her water bottle out of the deal though)
i am really happy you made it out to slc so many times this summer and i'm glad i flew to vegas for a DAY just to see you and spend the 6 hour drive home with you.
we really are so much fun, and i loved when we were at lunch with rob and you said
"i could spend forever with her, except she doesnt like animals....so that may be a deal breaker"
haha.
oh gosh, you are too great.
we are crazy, and a good fit.
remember that one night? you know the one. haha. that was too funny.
and that day after you got back from colorado and we went to slc to see john's cousin?
hahaha. we seriously make me laugh.
i hope you're having so much fun in tahoe, and i cant wait to come visit you and john.
i loved your house and miss having everyone around.
i am so proud of you for working so hard all summer and finding a job in tahoe now.
i hope you do pursue your dreams of going to school for geology.
you know i will be your tutor, since i'm almost a college grad and all.
haha.
xoxo,
randi

day 14-someone you've drifted away from

its hard to just one person for this.
there are alot of people i feel like were a major part in my life and now we're not as close.
lots of friends from my first year of college who have graduated and moved on.
when trying to pinpoint just one person, i cant do it.
so i pick josie and avery.

josie,
after high school when you told me you were going to weber i was so excited.
i wish we were living together this year because our two years together were so great.
i loved running errands with you, like that time an old man said "you could stop traffic in those shorts" haha.
i miss wearing crazy outfits to smiths with you and going to the gym every single day.
i miss when you'd drive me to school and we'd think we saw everyone on the hockey team but really our eyes were just so bad we thought it was them and it wasnt.
i loved our easter egg party with amanda in the spare bedroom with glowsticks.
and going to school dancing and singing all the songs (cyclone, solja boy, etc)
that summer at legends was probably my favorite summer ever.
i loved always being over and swimming and just hanging out every single day.
i loved when i didnt have a cell phone in highschool how i'd give all the boys we'd meet your phone number.
remember that HORRIBLE blind date we went on to the Korn concert? hahaha.
cute boy we met driving and his fatso-mcgee friend
how awkward.
im glad that even though we arent at close as we used to be we're still friends.
sorry to hear about Tang, i wish he wasnt so dumb because our days down there with kev and him were so fun.
and how i kissed ALL their roommates. haha.
woops.
and that time they wouldnt stop tickling me and i peed my pants, oh gosh.
i miss you, and if you ever need anything you know i'd be there.
randi

Avery,
"best fraaan", i miss you.
i miss hanging out with you every single day.
it is weird to go from hanging out every single day for months to just not even talking.
i wish you didnt get back with brooke on your birthday, because now i feel she takes all your time and you have no time left for me.
i appreciate all the things you took me to do like jazz games and dinners.
i loved that day you skipped all your classes so we could go to PF changs and get lettuce wraps with your mom.
and that day we went to noodles & co and went to visit vanessa at work.
i loved that i got invited to your birthday celebration with your whole family.
i really do love the house family and wish i'd see them more.
sorry for all the hockey drama that you've had to deal with this year (not related to me).
hopefully if you really do transfer schools it will be better.
after all, weber is a bit of a shitshow to watch.
i miss you, and if you ever get tired of brooke, you know dear old best fraaan randi will be there.
try not to ignore everyone else in your life (family/me/friends) just because of her.
i know you did it for two years before and it hurts the people around you, try to avoid making that mistake again.
i wish we were still best fraaans, because i still need someone to talk to and play with every day.
:(

day 13-someone you wish could forgive you

westley james,

i know i've already talked about you once, but you really are the ONE person who i wish would forgive me.

sure, i've done some not so nice things to alot of people, but you're the ONE person i want back in my life whom i genuinely feel bad about hurting.

i really am sorry, and im sorry i told you, and i'm sorry for all of the guilt you felt, and the breakdowns i caused.

im so grateful you didnt tell on me, even though you told andy when you promised you wouldnt.

i forgive you

i am so happy that despite the fact you sorta hated my guts, you still didnt rat me out when it was killing you inside and you wanted nothing more.

had i have known that is how you would have felt, i never would have told, but at the time we were really close and i thought i could confide in you about anything.

im sorry that it was the bad friend thing to do, and i hope you understand i didnt do it to hurt you.
you really are so nice, and it KILLS me not to talk to you.
i get tempted to text you every now and then but i know that you wanted me out fast, so i'm doing my best to respect that.
i miss you!
i remember when we went to indian food on our first lunch date and you called in sick to work because it was my ONLY free day for weeks.
and how we set up your tattoo apt and talked about your "sea horse" tattoo and i just couldnt comprehend it.
and how you were allergic to milk and EVERYTHING has milk in it, so we could never get icecream, but we did find a sushi place you could eat things at, yahoo.
i liked watching you guys record your cd and watching your shows.
"lets hear your battle cry, goooo".
i loved just laying and talking about everything for hours and day time naps.
i remember the first (and only) time i saw you after you told me i didnt fit into your life anymore and how we didnt say a WORD to each other, even though we were in the same room for hours.
it ate at me for the entire night.
i remember seeing you with layton girl at your show and being a little crushed.
westley, sorry for everything and all the drama i brewed up.
it really was not my intentions.
i hope some day you will find it in your heart to forgive me and we can be friends again.
you are really a great person with a huge heart, dont let people continue to take advantage of it.
love,
randi

day 12-the person who caused you the most pain/you hate

wow, i had no idea today's note was about the person who coincidentally said sorry to me yesterday.
maybe he reads my blog and saw his day was quickly approaching and didnt want everyone to hear all the horrible things i thought about him.
or maybe it was divine intervention.
who knows, but consider yourself lucky sXe boy, i am sparing you the humiliation.

if i exclude this said-mentioned person, i cant really think of anyone who has caused me alot of pain.
the quote "Thanks a heap coyote ugly. This cactus-gram stings even worse than your abandonment." comes to mind about someone, but i'm pretty sure they know who they are and why i dont like them.

maning up

there was a person in my life who had caused me a little bit of stress and whole lot of heart ache whom i had some hard feeling towards and i'd been harboring them for months, nearly half a year.
to simplify the story, i will cut straight to the chase.
i hadnt talked to this person in months, or nearly half a year and yesterday i received a text that said:
"im sorry if my insecurities and bullshit hurt you...i know words dont make it better but i was having a hard time and hurting people around me"

you have idea how much relief this simple phrase brought me.
because YES, you DID hurt me and you WERE full of bullshit,
and you're right it DOESNT make it better.

but i appreciated the fact that at least this was a sorry.
that this person acknowledged how awefully they handled the situation
and despite the fact that he is 24 years old, he acted like a little child about it.
i like that this peson maned up to how poorly he'd treated me.
it meant alot.
it made me realize a simple "im sorry" when truely sincere means so much.

"fool me once, shame on you. fool me twice, shame on me"

life update, not a letter.

lets see, what has happened in the last little while:

i chopped all my hair off for the first time in five years.
i seriously hadnt got a new style since 'locks of love' in 11th grade.

i finished another semester of school, only one more left.
i believe i got all A's, so i am proud of that.

i went to wendover.

i took i lie detector test, talk about intimidating.
it was just like movies, they drilled me for two hours.

i went to some jazz games.

i threw my best friend's bridal shower.

i went to alot of sushi and icecream

i attended my best friend's bachelorette party

i sewed a quilt

and now it is christmas break and im going to slob around for a whole month. things i have planned include: lots of doctor apts to use all this year's insurance money, wedding, wedding dinner, hockey game, girls night with the cousins, family ginger bread cookie decorating, a perhaps a very jersey christmas.

day 11- a dead person you wish you could talk to

i must be weird, because i dont really have any desire to talk to anyone who is dead.
maybe i am too self absorbed in my own life or too ignorant to care.
maybe i am content with who i talk to right now and dont really feel like someone who is dead would change me.

if i had to pick, i would pick someone inspirational like mother teresa or gandhi
to give me a few words of peace and advise.
id pick them to motivate me and keep me inspired, to keep the passion for living and loving.

i would simply ask for encouragement and their advise on how to achieve a meaningful, happy life.

day 10-someone you dont talk to as much as you'd like

hayley marie deshaw,

dweeb, i miss you!

i havent talked to you for a few months because both of our lives got so crazy.

you're married and got a house, how exciting!

i had alot of fun with you and your friends over my birthday/your wedding, even though it was SO stressful for everyone, i'm glad i could be there with you to celebrate.

i miss living with you and coming to get coffee every morning at the bookstore.

i miss your weird drinks you would wip up and test on me, like that green tea frapp.

yummm.

i ALWAYS crave that green tea frapp drink now.

i miss always going to darby and kyle's house with you.

remember when we bought jazz play off tickets and took the train?

that was SO fun!

we made that awesome rap, and then recorded it and broke my bed jumping on it.

hahaha.

gosh, you were a great roommate.

i am so glad tina told you to buy paul's lease, haha.

remember when your car got stuck on the hill at darbys and we pushed and pushed and tried everything, then it miraculously worked?

i wish you were still going to weber, i need a partner in crime.

i miss you lots, and am so happy we are still friends.

i love you girl, and hope all is well up in WA.

your "boosom buddy",

randi.

(i hope you know what boosom buddy is from...its from that slumber party we went to, hahaha, oh my gosh we need to live together again)

Thursday, December 2, 2010

day 9-someone you wish you could meet

i dont care to meet celebrities or famous people.
dont get me wrong, i loved the times i met kyle korver or craig owens because i idolize them
but right now there is nobody i am dying to meet who is famous.
weird.
i wish i could meet....my soulmate.
it may sound cheesy, but its true.
i am dying to meet him.
and i'm excited for when i do and everything just feels right
and then we fall madly in love yadda yadda yadda.
i cannot wait.
so soulmate, come introduce yourself.
:)

day 8-your favorite internet friend

i dont really know what this means, so i am going to pick my favorite real life friend who i talk to the most via internet.

da da da dah, LIZ!
(and yes, i did stick us together haha!)

yes liz, your time has come.

liz,

you are so cool, seriously; i envy your life.

you are so pretty and funny and easy going. i love your attitude towards life and the relationship you have with your family.

you are very stylish and i love getting your hand me downs.

i am very impressed with how dedicated you are to working out and being healthy.

you are one hot mama.

i'm happy we met in honors history 10th grade year, then had drivers ed together and dominated fashion divas.

lois loved us.

i like how we can just watch movies or gossip and dont always have to be out doing something.

i like that i can tell you about things and you dont judge me, and i'm not shy to talk about them with you.

i loved our vegas vacation and hope we have another one in our future.

not once did i ever get sick of you that entire week it was just the two of us.

you are so fun, and i cant wait to be fake lesbian cat ladies living together when we get old.

haha.

love, randi.

day 7-your ex bf/crush

nicholas lee,
i miss you still, all the time.
i miss your wonderful family and being with them every day.
i am so grateful for our time together and for how your family opened their hearts to me.

i remember seeing you for the first time in lab across the room, you were wearing a green striped shirt and i got in line for bench assignments behind you so we could be by each other, and it worked! we got to be lab partners. :)
i remember our first date and you wore a plaid shirt and we went to see inglorious bastards and we held hands.
i loved how you'd come over after class for our hour break then drop me back off at school.
i loved how you made me a nickname and since i can only see out of one eye so you'd say it in a pirate accent sometimes. haha. you nerd.
you were really good at snowboarding and i loved when people would post videos of you and always make sure to let me know "he is a legend" and your triple rodeo was nearing perfection.
remember that time we played poker at troys and i won, but it was with your money so really you won? haha.
i loved how you were always helping your family and how your dad taught you to do so many things with your hands, like that time i watched you change your oil. who knew you could do that on your own? not me.
i miss hanging out with you everyday, and cheating on labs together.
i am so happy i got to meet you and your family.
you really are so wonderful!
i hope everything works out well for you because you deserve it.
much love,
randi

day 6-a stranger

dear stranger,
my name is randi, but you dont know me.
i am quiet and shy, and mostly hate everything.
i like to learn, and am quite the nerd.
i am getting fantastic grades in school this semester and plan on getting a 4.0.
like i said, nerd.
i love the beach, palm trees, and sunshine.
i secretly wish i was rich and could just travel the world and be carefree.
i worry a lot and stress, and am a "mom" about everything.
i am very responsible and schedule everything in a planner.
i absolutely hate being late to things, i am always early or on time.
i get joy out of really simple things in life.
i currently have an unhealthy obsession with ke$ha.
i really love the utah jazz and craig owens, they're high on my priorities list.
i love boys who can grow a good beard, not a patchy one.
i am almost done with school and on the verge of being a "grown up";
it makes me nervous, but really excited.
my nails are always painted, it is a sick habit of mine; i paint them at least twice a week.

love, randi

Sunday, November 28, 2010

day 5-your dreams

im not writing a letter TO my dreams, rather about them.
and by dreams i mean ambitions, not zZzZ dreams.

incase you never knew, i have a life list which i started in 2004.
its listed in detail in a previous blog.
things on it that i've accomplished include: meet craig owens, write a letter to my senator, run a 5k, go to europe, read a book every month for a year, learn to eat with chop sticks, skydive, etc.

things i have yet to accomplish include: graduate college, make working out a lifestyle not chore, surf, own a tiny pet pig, get jury duty, go to a fashion show, learn to cook.

my MAIN dream right now is to finish school and get hired on full time at a CSI, a real career, sigh.
i am still crossing my fingers about my internship at weber metro csi, and would love to get an internship for spring semester then hired on after that.
if weber metro wont have me i would love to go to henderson or las vegas.

if i cant find a job right away i want to join peace corps.
that has been a dream of mine for years (but you have to have a 4 year degree).
i would LOVE to volunteer in africa or anywhere really.
i am a humanitarian at heart, i would love to just serve full time if i was in the financial situation to do so.

yep, those are my dreams.

oh, and eventually i want to be head over heels in love with someone who feels the same way and is good looking and can grow a beard. we can have a family eventually too, that would be good.

Saturday, November 27, 2010

day 4-your sibling

gina,
we dont ever hang out, or talk, or do anything together...so i dont really know what to write to you because you're kind of a stranger to me. hmmm.
i am glad you were 'good' growing up and set a good example for me to follow.
im glad you and spencer are happy together and that he fixes my car sometimes.
thanks for inviting me to watch movies last minute, even though i never come because its always when i have plans already.

love,
randi

Friday, November 26, 2010

day 3-my parents

i pick mom, because i like her more.

dear mom,
you are fantastic, seriously. i know we dont really talk about important things like boys, or my future, or my feelings, or have ever really had a 'mother daughter' talk, we dont talk about anything "important" really, but i like hanging out with you.
we are both funny, and giggly, and silly together; i wish we could be like that more often.
i like your amazing cooking and how you do anything for me.
i like how i can call you seven times in an hour to ask you how to cook something and you dont get annoyed with me.
i like calling you on my walk to my car after school just to say hi.
i appreciate that time a boy broke up with me for the first time and you drove to ogden to bring me a diet coke to cheer me up, because i was slightly devastated.
i am grateful you taught me the importance of working and saving money and didnt just hand out money or give me things when i asked for them, you made me work for them and earn them.
im so lucky you taught me to automatically save half of my money (allowance and pay checks) so i could have mega savings when i grew up.
i like how you taught me how to shop sales and brand names are dumb.
i like playing games and being on your team because we think the same way and always win.
i appreciate the fact that you've worked all my life to support our family since dad doesnt.
i am glad you're so good with computers because i know nothing and can always have you fix my lap top.
i like that you're obsessed with NKOTBSB right now, haha, we are getting tickets next summer.
i also like that we both have a crush on michael buble and you like the ice cube song "west".
thank you for everything you do for me, even though i come home after curfew (why i have a curfew at 22 i'm unsure) and sometimes give you a headache and am moody all the time.
thanks for helping me with school/rent/books.
i love you mom,
randi

Tuesday, November 23, 2010

day 2: my crush

i had a hard time picking one person, but narrowed it down.

dear crush,
you are cute and i love your new haircut.
i love watching you play and how good you are at it.
I dig that you LOVE recycling as much as me and i appreciate how hippie-earth-loving you are.
i like how you're going to school and planning on traveling.
i wish we'd hang out more besides the times we do, or spend our time doing better things though.
i wish you'd not use me so much; however, i did enjoy this weekend and its my fault for being a dumb girl and letting it happen.
you're cute, and i wish you'd like me like me, not just sort of like me sometimes.
blah.
i know i shouldnt like you, but i cant help but have a little [not so] secret crush on you.

love,
randi

i love hockey

i stole this from mister kyle becci describing hockey &
it gave me goose bumps.

"The cockiest, dirtiest, most irresponsible group of athletes in the world. Will do anything just to be able to tell his teammates a great story in the dressing room. Live the dream until they are 35 then realize they never made it. Ladies love us, guys want to be us, we are the soul of the universe. You lace up the skates, put on the gloves, strap on the helmet, and walk on to the ice and nothing else matters. It doesn't matter that you failed a test, your girl is being a bitch, or that you got a ticket on the way there...your world is absolutely perfect for the next couple hours. Here's to face-offs, goals, assists, saves, overtime, living on the road, cold rinks, early mornings, breakaways, going top cheese, flashing the leather, countless hours of practice, bag skates, puking, thousands of dollars, dangling d-men, end to end rushes, big hits, broken twigs, new skates, packing bombs, dropping the mitts, wheelin' broads, coaches, adding the letter "y" to the end of everyone's last name, the word "fuck", pick up, tape to tape sauce, let downs, miracles and most of all - the game of Hockey. Why? Why do we skate back and forth night after night? Skating so hard we throw up. Skating so hard your heart beat rings in your head, while your lungs are grasping for air. Late nights, early mornings, Friday nights, Saturday evenings, broken bones, torn muscles and deep bruises. We skate through it all. Because we live off our adrenaline, because the game frees your spirit, because the party in the locker room is second to none, because you're invincible once you step on the ice, because one shot can make you smile all night, sniping the twine, backy shelf where momma keeps the peanut butter, the rattling of the boards, the feel of the puck, and skates carving into the ice is a rhythm to live by, because its possible to skate fast enough to leave all your worries behind."

i really love this quote, and i really really love that i understand it all, and relate to it.
the end.

30 days= 30 (+) hours

Nicole and I have both aquired ample spare time so we decided to do a thirty day challenge.

She's going to bikeram (some sort of death wish hot yoga class from what i gather)

and I'm going to kick back up my 'body for life' workout routine.

Today was day 1 of our quest for health and so far we're both on track.

I ran 3 miles and did BFL arms, my favorite workout routine ever (ask Jos & Katie).

I'm going to the gym an hour a day and she's doing bikeram an hour a day.

Thirty days, thirty hours.

Last year at this time I was in the best shape I've ever been in, and sadly i just quit working at it.

The plan is to get that old Randi body back.

burrfday

notice my flowers, she had amazing arrangements for us

i had a birthday shout hooray!

my birthday was sunday, which happened to be the day after Mrs. Hayley DeShaw's wedding so it got put on the back burner (not complaining).

friday i flew out to pasco WA to help the future bride get ready for her big day.
we went straight from the airport to her aunts to decorate and set up for the ceremony.
after decorating for six hours we got to make pickle rolls.
apparently they are a washington thing, for those of you who dont know what they are they're ham slices filled with cream cheese with a pickle in the center and you roll it up.
they were a pain to make but delicious to eat.

after making those we got to make party favors, oh what a joy those were, NOT.
haha

saturday we spent all day doing wedding-y things: hair/makeup/nails/pictures/ceremony/dinner.

after the wedding i stayed with hayley's ever so kind friend brittney whom i am so grateful for opening her doors to me. we had a midnight birthday celebration and watched youtube videos and talked about jersey shore all night, it was fantastic. i wish she lived in utah.

sunday we spent the major part of the day cleaning up from the wonderful event then went to the mall to spend the newly weds gift cards. we were all way too tired to celebrate my birthday so we took a nap and ordered wings.

monday brian and hayley took me to breakfast and i had a wonderful iced coffee drink that i keep craving, then it was off to the airport.
directly from the airport i went to sushi with my bestest friends kaite, jake, and lachel.
from sushi i went to wingnuts with nathan and we hung out with our Ogden friends.
tuesday i had family dinner and cake/ice cream and opened all my fantastic gifts including this gem:
in addition to my millsap jersey i got two books, two movies, my nail art kit, some socks, hangers for my zillion coats, a clock, an ipod dock, a phone charger, a george, a toaster, and more things which are slipping my mind.
over all my long weekend of festivities was wonderful but i have so much catching up to do in school.
yiiikes.

i am too mad to blog, but my next blog (when i am in a better mood) will include my birthday festivities and washington.
for now, nothing.

boo for two faced sketchy liars.

oh, what a week

as my first week of senior year is coming to and end i am nervous and excited for my final eight months of school.

this week i had the strange opportunity to lose my job, yes, my job of FIVE years, five years working my way from employee, assistant manager, store manager, and finally ending as area manager. it came as a total shock to me, and a few million tears fell. i am still in a bit of surprise mode as to my new found joblessness.
i am unsure what i am going to do about money for the next eight months of my life.
silver loft is all i have ever known.
five years of doing the same thing every day and still being fairly content with my life.
five years of routine, and its over.
i am indeed sad to part my ways, but excited for what shall come.
i am however not excited about figuring a way to pay rent, phone, insurance, food, gas, etc.
yikes.

i moved into a one bedroom basement apartment by myself (please dont kidnap me) and have learned living alone is lonely.
i have watched seven movies alone this week, seven movies in five days.
i do love not having to deal with roommates being loud at 3 am or fights over what baseball team is better or who left their dirty dishes around; and for this i am ever so grateful.

today, taking full advantage of my solo living lifestyle, i did all of my morning routine: breakfast, hair, makeup, everything naked. it was very liberating.

with my new apartment comes my lack of internet, which drives me to go to campus more than i'd like. the upstairs tenent said she'd get right on the internet situation but i have yet to hear anything about it. :/

lack of job+lack of internet=very bored randi.

Baggage

lately i've been thinking about boys i've dated in the past for boys i potentially want to date and all the baggage that comes along with liking someone:

ex-girlfriends of 7 years

baby mama drama

debt

friend problems

family issues

divorced

reluctant to trust others

the list could go on and on.

all this extra baggage seems a bit intimidating. while thinking about this issue i was reminded of a scene from how i met your mother, this scene, especially 2:45-end

yep, im going to brag this whole post

so saturday i went to pineview to watch a wakeboard contest.

right when i got there, maybe 8:30 AM, some man clearly associated with monster (energy drink) says "hey, do you two girls want to go film this part with us?" to me and another girl who i had just met moments before.

not knowing who this man was, a friend urged me to go and said "you'll regret it if you dont"

so i went with a stranger, on his boat of 6 boys with a stranger girl i had just met.

best.choice.ever.

turns out this boy was shane bonifay, pro wakeboarder sponsored by monster.

we go on the boat for a while and go into a restricted area and all the sudden a helicopter is right next to our boat filming him throwing INSANE tricks.
when i say right next to our boat i mean the wind from the blades were splashing water all over us, that close.

he did maybe six or seven runs (about an hour worth) and then we went back to shore and watched the non-professional wakeboarding for eleven hours.

i am so grateful i had the opportunity to ride with shane bonifay and spend a few hours rubbing shoulders with the great.
dont even worry, that picture came from his twitter, and i'm in it. wooo.

keep an eye out for the next shane bonifay video, because i will most defiantly be in it.
thank you blonde hair.
