Lucky me :)

I received and email to the ol' WSU email that said "check your billing status"
so i did and surprise i got a half scholarship for fall 2010!
woooo.
thank you criminal justice department for giving me some money,
it is much appreciated.
:)

My forensic workshop ended today, and as much as it sucked driving an hour each way to get there, the workshop itself was wonderful.

i learned so much about how to properly document a crime scene, ended taking well over 500 pictures, used a ballistics laser for the first time, learned the functions of my camera, and truly got to know and associate with some terrific people including weber-metro CSI employees, so thank you for allowing me to rub shoulders with the great.

Work starts tomorrow, and then all day every day.

okay, not all day, but i do work 29 days in may.

yikes
at least i'll be rollin in the bills.

"schools out, for summa"

woo.
school is out.
summer is in.
i started my CSI workshop today, 8am-4pm, plus an hour drive each way.
this means i spent TEN hours doing school, and have 14 photo assignments due tomorrow, when we meet and do it all over again.
i am going to end up spending a solid 12 hours at least doing CSI today and i'm already exhausted.

i locked my keys in my car again today at lunch.
i called three locksmiths, and then some cute little old man ended up stopping to help me.
thanks jerry hill for opening my car.
friday i went to the jazz game and it was wonderful.

jazz lead the series 3-1.

light at the end of the tunnel

so life was a downwards spiral for a while, but it's seemed to leveled out.
i am DONE with school (minus my CSI workshop)
i am almost moved out, it will be official friday.
i have made so many new friends, which is strange because its the last week of the semester.
i am over having boy troubles, not because the troubles are gone, but because i am over caring about them.

the things that have made me happy this semester:
1.snowboard house, love all you boys more than you'll ever understand
2.jazz making playoffs/going to the play off game friday; wooo
3.two much needed vacations
4.reading a book not required for school, but as a leisure activity
5.keeping most of my new years resolutions

other things have made me happy, but at the moment i am just happy for the stress of everything to be done with. thank heavens.

Carol

dear future silverloft employees,

please do not throw a fit in the middle of the mall about how your commission was withheld due to the fact you were fired, and then proceed to run away without turning in your keys. you signed a binding document saying you understood that in the condition of termination, the company could withhold your commission bonus. clearly you did not deserve your bonus if you werent doing your job properly, hence the reason you were fired. do not expect me to give you a good referral when you use me as a reference for future job applications. i hope those 48 dollars were worth it.

your area manager,
Randi

paper thin walls

Dear certain girl:

I think it is odd when one night I hear you ask "Is Randi here? Because I think Randi would hook up with my boyfriend, and I think he would hook up with her too."
I also think it is weird how the next night I hear you say "I dont like Randi, I think she's a fake person."
I think it is strange that later in that same night you proceed to ask me my plans for the night, compliment my outfit, and see what I'm up to, and ask advice on how to get boys to pay attention to you.

I also think it is strange how after you said you think your boyfriend would hook up with me and voice your concern about it, how you turned psycho on everyone in the house, and begged your boyfriend to stay with you.
Why in the world would you want to have a long distance relationship with your boyfriend if you think he would hook up with some other girl under your very nose, in your own house? What makes you think he wouldnt do it with eight states separating you?

If you cannot trust someone, dont turn crazy and cause a scene for a week about it, simple part ways with them.
Also, please have a little more faith in my character, I am not a boyfriend stealer, I simply make friends who are boys more easily.

Regards,
Randi

I love California, I miss it already.

My trip was wonderful, we went to the beach two days, dyed easter eggs, had an easter egg hunt, cooked homemade orange cinnamon french toast, went out, went to dinner, ate at an organic shop, went bike searching, watched 2012, experienced an earth quake, i wouldnt have had it any other way.
Yes, i did say "earthquake".
Crazy, i know, right?
I was getting my boarding passes in San Diego to head home to cold Utah when a lady working asked "do you feel that, i think its an earth quake".
I replied "No." and kept doing my boarding pass check in, then all the sudden the ground shook and signs were swinging from the ceiling and i just stood there like a deer in the head lights.
The ladies behind the counters were hoping over the counter and running outside so i just followed them out there. haha apparently when there are no school desks to duck and cover under, you go outside, school drills never prepared me for that one. Things were fine, a few minor delays with my planes but i'm safe and sound; back to Utah missing Cali already.
On a side note, i had a stress break down today. Way too much going on in my life right now, too little time to deal with it. Two more weeks and the semester is OVER! yay!!!
