Spring break part 2

Oh my, what a great spring break thus far.

Monday Liz and I drove to St. George and made a little pit stop for gas and went on a wild goose hunt looking for the dinosaur tracks but to no avail, so we took pictures by red rock instead.

We arrived at our hotel and realized it was really nice for the mere 30 dollars a night we paid.

After we got settled in we walked from Stratosphere to Balagio to watch the fountain show, not realizing it was three miles each way. :( Our poor feet killed from our six mile trek so we called it a night pretty early, but not before we went to a Mexican restaurant.

Tuesday we went to my aunt's house and had some breakfast with her and my grandparents (love them) then laid out.

After we laid out we went to the wax museum and took a million pictures (see facebook for all million).

After the wax museum we took the standard "welcome to las vegas" sign pictures, then rode a ride at the stratosphere which takes you over the edge and spins you, yikes.

Tuesday night we went to Freemont St. and watched the light show and walked the street for a while, ate deep fried oreos, then returned to the stratosphere and did a little gambling.

Wednesday we went to breakfast with my grandparents and aunt again, then laid out again.

After that we went to the chapel from the movie the hangover, then to M&M factory and Coke factory. We tasted 16 different coke product around the world, and let's just say peru's was not very delightful.

After our touristy activities we went shopping, because Liz's purse broke so we had to find her a new one. While at the mall the funniest thing happened: We saw a highly intoxicated man walking, then spot someone who was not wearing green (it was St. Patrick's day) and PINCH the stranger and yell "Party foul!" it was hilarious! After a long day of shopping we had foot long hotdogs at Slots of Fun, then went back to Freemont St. where we were surprised to see Bono performing, only to realize it was not real Bono, but a U2 cover band. :( While at the St. Patrick's day block party on Freemont St. I met Chad, my Canadian friend whom I should have shotgun married because he was awesome.

After our St. Patrick's day night we went to MGM for a bit, then drove home and i did a night time drive by photo shoot.
Thursday we just cashed out and headed home. :(
